    Hosted by The City Of Tucson this class introduces full body flamenco technique and taught a folk dance from Sevilla, Spain.

    *Recommended for absolute beginners.

    This class focuses solely on technique exercises in floreo (hand movements), braceo (arm movements), zapateado/taconeo (footwork), marcajes (marking steps), compas y palmas (rhythms and hand-clapping), giros (turns).

    *Absolute beginners ( those who have never taken flamenco before) are recommended to start with Intro to Flamenco on Mondays to understand the fundamental techniques.

    This class focuses on beginning level castanet playing. This is open for total beginners and those who want to get back to playing technique.

    LEARN SEVILLANAS : A FOLK DANCE FROM SEVILLE SPAIN! 

    Tuesdays 10am-11am  & Thursdays 1pm-2pm

    January 14th - January 30th ( 6 classes) 

    This class introduces full body flamenco technique and focuses on a Spanish folk dance called Sevillanas. Sevillanas are danced by couples of all ages during celebrations. The movement enhances coordination and balance with a gentle approach. No partner, experience or flamenco shoes necessary.
